Obayashi Corporation established its presence in Singapore in 1965, and in January 2014, its operations were formally localised into a subsidiary, Obayashi Singapore.

Over the decades, the company has built a strong and diverse portfolio spanning industrial facilities, commercial developments, residential projects, leisure and entertainment facilities, data centres, as well as major civil and infrastructure works.

In Singapore’s highly competitive construction landscape, Obayashi Singapore remains committed to delivering quality projects while embracing advanced technologies that enhance safety, productivity, and sustainability.

The organization’s approach focuses on minimising environmental impact and driving innovation through the adoption of digital and eco-friendly construction methods.

Obayashi Singapore is part of a joint venture undertaking major infrastructure works under the Cross Island Line Phase 2 (CRL2), including the design and construction of CR14 Turf City station (working name) and tunnels, as well as the bored tunnel between Fairways Drive and Sin Ming Walk. It has also begun work recently for the new North-South Line (NSL) NS3A station.

Through these projects, Obayashi Singapore continues to contribute to the development of Singapore’s future-ready infrastructure.
